Malapascua

Located 8 km north of Cebu Island is the tiny island of Malapascua. The island has no cars or ATMS (so make sure you withdraw before you get there, some hotels don't accept credit cards- check ahead) Electricity is powered by a new generator which now gives the island 24 hour power. Most resorts are located on Bounty beach on the southern side of the island, a beautiful stretch of white sand.   • •Renowned for almost daily spotting of Thresher Shark and mantra at Monad Shoal. The best time to dive is early morning.
